Think all of Brentwood’s new residential construction is limited to east side of town? Think again.
Conveniently located just off Franklin Road, King’s Crossing offers large, level homesites with traditional 3-5 bedroom floor plans by Norfolk Homes, starting from the $500,000s.
“The location is ideal, four miles to Maryland Farms and with easy access to I-65,” says John Pegram, an independent broker with ReMax Elite. “And the homes are beautiful – a lot of value for the money.”
Keith Brogdon agrees, noting that the opportunity to build in King’s Crossing initially seemed “too good to be true.” He and his family moved from nearby Cloverland Acres about a year ago.
“We were thrilled to find King’s Crossing,” says Brogdon. “We were able to keep our children at Lipscomb Elementary, and we loved the houses and nice level lots. But the best thing is absolutely the neighbors – we’ve already made so many friends. We have cookouts and cocktails in the cul de sac, and there are kids galore. We like to call it ‘New Brentwood.’”
David and Laura Mee relocated to King’s Crossing from Burlington, N.C., last year.
“When David accepted Belmont University’s offer to be their new Dean of Enrollment and Associate Provost, we made a trip to look for a new home here in Nashville, keeping our focus primarily in Brentwood and Franklin,” Laura Mee says.
“After a very long day, our real estate agent brought us to King’s Crossing in the event we would be interested in choosing a lot and building a custom home. After weighing all our options, we decided that King's Crossing fit all our needs.”
The Mees broke ground in September 2010 and officially moved in December.
“Just in time to unpack and decorate for Christmas,” she says, adding that they were initially attracted by the area’s exceptional schools and proximity to I-65 and Belmont. They also were thrilled to be able to build on a full acre lot in King’s Crossing.
“Our view includes three church steeples, with the Brentwood Hills creating the perfect backdrop. It’s sort of idyllic and certainly exceeded our expectations.
“We have been at King’s Crossing for about seven months now and are very thankful to be here. Our small neighborhood makes for a community where gatherings attract nearly 100 percent attendance. Our neighbors are very friendly and kind, and many have young children, which is a bonus.”
