Music Restocks Second Harvest Shelves Looking for something fun to do this weekend? How about a full day of music?
Every year during the holidays, many people think about the hunger issue in their area. Food barrels appear at the entry and exit doors of supermarkets. Radio and TV ads ask us to give food to those in need. The thought of someone going hungry on a “food holiday,” and the reality that children might not have a family meal, inspires everyone to dig deeper into their pockets and give more to address... hunger.
The reality is that many people are going hungry at any time of the year. This thought should fuel our passion for making sure people have enough to eat all year. RESTOCK MUSIC FESTIVAL is an event that works to creatively raise food donations to feed the hungry. By teaming with Second Harvest Food Bank the organizers are helping to ensure families have plenty of food for the early months of the new year.
RESTOCK Music Festival is hosted by Manda Rose Music and will be held at the National Guard Armory in Hohenwald on Jan. 21, 2012 from noon to 10:30 p.m. A ticket can be used for re-entry all day long.

| Mission |
We are on a mission to "Restock" the food pantries after the holiday depletion. Many people believe that the problems associated with hunger are confined to small pockets of society, certain areas of the country, or certain neighborhoods, but the reality is much different. In Middle Tennessee, morethan 417,000 people struggle with hunger, and staggering 1 in 4 children ishungry. Hunger is closer than you think, but so is the solution.
