By the time you read this, hopefully your hearts are full and your memories merry with another Christmas celebration tucked away in your cedar chest of sentimental collections. 

As I write this little ditty two days before the biggest party of the year, I sit here tapping away and hoping that I will be able to pull off yet another holiday celebration that my family will hold dear. But just thinking about ‘pulling off’ anything, let alone the happiness of my family, seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Talk about pressure; I don’t think that was what God had in mind when he ‘pulled off’ His most awe-inspiring event.

However, let’s be real; when there is a celebration on the horizon, there is a feast that needs to be prepared, more presents to be wrapped (hey, weren’t there only three wise men?) and dust bunnies to be corralled before the family cedar chest can be opened for memory making

So in order for this hostess to not feel too much heat, I’m keeping my last column of 2012 short and sweet.  Thank you, my readers, for sharing a slice of your time and reading the sentiments and sustenance that surrounds my heart and life.  Hopefully, a few of my words encourage your heart, challenge your path, and inspire your walk as you weave the design elements of your life together to create a masterpiece that you deserve to love.
