The Visitation Hospital Foundation held a Haitian dinner, silent auction, wine-tasting and music event at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood last Thursday to raise money for the Visitation Clinic in Haiti.
The clinic has treated more than 50,000 people since opening in January 2008.
For every $2 spent, the gift was matched by $1 through a challenge grant the church received this year.
Musical entertainment was provided by singer-songwriter Kirstie Lovelady and her partner James Murrell.
Event sponsors included Whole Foods of Franklin, West Meade Wine & Liquor Mart, Nashville, Holy Family Church, Vanderbilt Dietetic Internship Program.
