Middle Tennessee author Barry Jones will read from and sign his new book, Words Upon a Tombstone, at 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Brentwood Library on Concord Road.

The reading will be in Meeting Room A.

The book is a collection of original short stories both fiction and life stories based on his youth growing up in a seaside village in North Wales and his subsequent life in the United States.

The fictional stories range from the paranormal to the humorous. Jones has told his stories at numerous public concerts and events, most recently at the Brentwood Haunted Trails held this past Halloween at Crockett Park.
