Brentwood Home Page

A press release from Belk has spurred us on, so here’s the deal: If you’re engaged, we want to publish your engagement announcement. And wedding announcement, and 25th or 50th or higher wedding anniversary announcement. For free!

Brentwood Home Page publishes these announcements for our readers in our Lifestyles section. All you have to do to be included is have a strong Brentwood connection (bride, groom, parents, school, etc.), copy the form that’s posted in our Weddings & Engagements section and email us your write-up along with a picture. You must include the required contact information.

It’s that easy.

And here's an added inticement to help us add a little romance to Brentwood Home Page. All couples submitting an engagement, wedding or anniversary announcement between by Sept. 31 will be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card from Belk along with a small "wedding" gift. The person submitting the announcement must be a BHP member, but that's an easy and free step as well if you haven't already signed up.

The drawing will take place Oct. 1.

As for the Belk connection, the CoolSprings Galleria store is hosting a three-hour “engagement party” starting at 5:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 26), in the store’s gift registry department.

Guests will receive a free Wedding Registry Planner and those who open a new gift registry or add to an existing one will receive a $25 savings card and will be entered into a drawing for the following prizes: Two travel vouchers for airline tickets or a cruise ($1,200 value); $1,000 in cash; one of five $1,000 Belk Gift Cards; three days and two nights at the Biltmore Inn in Asheville, N.C. ($2,500 value); and Carolee jewelry.
