Friday deadline to sign up for WNSL hoops, cheering

West Nashville Sports League will close registration for the 2012 Basketball and Cheerleading seasons on Friday, Nov. 4, for players in PreK through 5th grade.

The basketball league with weekly games for both boys and girls through 9th grade begins Saturday, Jan. 7, and runs through Feb. 25 at gyms across Williamson and Davidson counties.

Registration for 6th-9th grades closes following school tryouts.

Celebrating its 16th year in existence, WNSL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation providing organized competition for more than 3,000 basketball, 1,000 baseball and 900 flag football players annually.
