If you want to learn CPR, the Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department will teach you for free this Friday. The department has been presenting community CPR classes at the Brentwood Library, Meeting Room A every Friday in February. The final 90-minute class is Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.
“This class is based on the Friends and Family CPR platform,” coordinator Scott Barnes explains. “This program from The American Heart Association is very informative and hands on, but there is no card given out at the end. Those participating should not expect a ‘CPR card’ when they are finished.”
The class is limited to 16 people per night and is primarily intended for adults from ages 16 and up. All people interested in signing up or requesting more info should email Scott Barnes at barness@brentwood-tn.org or call and leave a voicemail at 371-0060 ext 4523.
