Frank Nunzio Comito: Used his illness as a ministry
Mr. Comito was preceded in death by parents, Salvatore and Mary Ann Comito; brother, Coleman Comito; and sister, Antoinette Comito. He is survived by loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Jane Comito; sons, Frankie (Joanne) Comito, Gregg (Stephanie) Comito, and Christopher (Katie) Comito; five grandchildren, Sarah Comito, Anna Comito, Caleb Comito, Jared Comito, and Maddy Comito; sisters, Philomena Dacquino and Mary Bowles; godchild, Debbie Bowles; nieces and nephews; along with many more loving family members who will all miss him and remember the legacy of his life and how he chose not to view his illness as a burden, but rather as a ministry of awareness to others who might have to walk the same path as he.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, January 21 2013 at 11 a.m. The family cordially invites friends to gather with them one hour prior to the time of service for a time of visitation and remembrance. Reception to follow services at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made in Frank's honor to the Wounded Warriors Project, the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, Alive Hospice, or the charity of choice.
