Conveniently situated just off Concord Road, Foxboro Estates offers ready access to I-65 and popular destinations throughout Brentwood. But according to residents, this well-maintained neighborhood also enjoys plenty of privacy, with large open lots and mature trees.
“It’s hard to beat our central location,” says Bob Hines, who has lived in the subdivision since 2003 and is president of the Foxboro Homeowners Association. “We’re minutes from everything. We can jump on I-65 and be in Nashville in 15 minutes. But because we connect with other neighborhoods such as Brentmeade and Chenoweth, it’s easy to take the back roads and avoid the congestion on Concord.”
Built from the late 1970s to the 1990s, Foxboro Estates includes 230 homes, including many traditional ranches built on one acre lots. Yet just two homes are currently listed on realtracs.com, priced at $499,900 and $724,900, respectively.
“The homes are older, but very well-maintained,” says Kitt Pupel, a Realtor at List for Less Realty. “And many residents have done updated kitchens and bathrooms, so there are some good values and nice extras.”
Hines agrees, noting that houses seem to sell quickly in the family friendly community.
“When you consider that newer subdivisions can run upward of $800,000, Foxboro is a great value for the money,” he says. “It’s a nice, peaceful neighborhood where people feel safe walking or riding their bikes. And it’s very friendly.”
In fact, the Foxboro Women’s Club meets monthly and organizes a wide range of social events throughout the year, including a street party/fiesta in September, a children’s Halloween party, a holiday cocktail party, and a couple’s chili and bunco party in February.
“There’s just a good sense of community here,” Hines says. “We have nice homes, great schools and friendly people. It’s been a great fit for my family.”
