BHP, Dillard's giveaway includes Brahmin handbag Brentwood Home Page news reports While partygoers at next week’s Helping Children through Fashion, Music & Fun event at Dillard’s The Mall at Green Hills will enjoy “fabulous fashion, creative cocktails, inspired cuisine, luxury giveaways, private shopping and live entertainment,” the evening’s real winner will be the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Proceeds from ticket sales to the "Grand Re-Opening" gala celebrating the store’s multi-million-dollar renovation will go to the hospital for childhood cancer research. Special guest Phil Vassar will perform several of his biggest hits during the event that runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25. Tickets are $50 each.
“We are very excited to share this evening of celebration with our clients in Nashville, where we have enjoyed a strong, 25-year history of helping people feel good about themselves. We believe giving back to the communities we serve is the ultimate customer service and we are honored to partner with Phil Vassar and with the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt to make a difference in children’s lives through childhood cancer research,” Dillard’s vice president of stores, Brant Musgrave, stated.
Following the fashion show, dining and musical performances, guests will be treated to private, exclusive shopping at the store as models present the best looks in fall fashion complemented by great live music all evening long.
Mila Grigg, Brentwood Home Page’s fashion columnist and a nationally sought-out stylist and fashion consultant, is helping to promote the event. Grigg will put together one cosmetic basket, one fragrance basket and select one Brahmin handbag ($350 value) from Dillard’s Green Hills store to be given away in a random drawing at noon, Oct. 25th, from Brentwood Home Page readers who purchase tickets (see details below).
“They have brought in a fabulous fashion show producer that will make the show a true New York-style fashion show experience,” Grigg says. “The show segment of this event will be hosted by Super Bowl Champion-turned-singer Ben Utecht. He has three beautiful baby girls and his heart is in helping the children’s hospital and raising as much money as possible for the kids.”
