Ermon Wayne Capps Lature, age 79 of Franklin, Tenn. Passed away on December 25, 2011. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Lature retired from AT&T after 38 years of service. He was past state president of the Telephone Pioneers. Through his efforts with this organization he worked with Habitat for Humanity in Davidson County. He later served as founder and executive director of the Williamson County Habitat for Humanity and retired after 15 years of service.
He was involved with several community projects, including the Chamber and serving as deacon with Brentwood Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lature of Franklin; sons, David (Kelly) Lature of Franklin, Dale (Janet) Lature of Lavergne, Tenn. and Mike (Pam) Lature of Johnson City, Tenn.; daughter, Jill (Cary) Gensemer of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, with Mike Glenn officiating.
