Embassy Suites in Cool Springs has donated more than 300 televisions to Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County, and they're being sold at area Habitat ReStore shops.

The 27-inch RCA TVs were removed from guest rooms and other areas of the hotel. The public is invited to come purchase the televisions at the Habitat's ReStore, 7115 Bakers Bridge Ave.

“These televisions are in good working order and can be a fine addition for someone interested in adding a television to a bedroom or den.  Because of the number of televisions available, we are selling them for $10 each," said Ansel Rogers, the ReStore manager.

The revenue generated by the sale of the televisions will go toward building another affordable home for a hard-working family in Williamson County. 

“Because of this generous donation and the large number of sets, we are able to share these with other Middle Tennessee affiliates who have ReStore," said John Besser, executive director. "They will sell them as well.  It’s a great win-win for Habitat and for Embassy Suites.”

Bob Horner, general manager of Embassy Suites Hotel Cool Springs, said the company is thrilled to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County ReStore.

"We’re glad the donation of the these sets will go to help fund affordable housing in Williamson County," Horner said.  "It’s a mission that we believe in and can stand firmly behind.  We hope to be able to continue our partnership with the ReStore and the affiliate in the future.”
