967 have already cast their votes in commission race
By SUSAN LEATHERS Brentwood Home Page With Election Day 11 days away, just shy of 1000 registered voters have taken advantage of early voting in the Brentwood City Commission race that will seat a majority of the seven-member board. According to the Williamson County Election office, 967 out of 26,976 registered voters have cast their ballots.
Early voting will be closed today because of Good Friday, but the two sites – the Brentwood Library and the Brentwood Municipal Building – will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday next week.
Election Day is Tuesday, May 3, and all Brentwood precincts will be open.
On Thursday, the six candidates – Bert Bosse, Jill Burgin, Betsy Crossley, Anne Dunn, Rod Freeman and Brenda Lehman – took part in the final candidates forum, hosted by the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce. Brentwood Home Page will have full coverage of the forum on Monday.
