A rear window was removed for a vehicle break-in at O’Charley’s, and a flatbed trailer was stolen from Fellowship Baptist Church, according to the most recent crime report.

There were six general thefts including shoplifting incidents (two at Gabriel’s Garden) and three thefts from motor vehicles listed in the weekly release Thursday by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh.

The rear passenger window was removed and a purse taken from the vehicle at 100 Eastpark Drive, the address of the Maryland Farms O’Charley’s, around 7:40-8:21 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5. The purse was recovered in a nearby hotel lot.

A GPS unit, an iPod and phone charger were stolen from another vehicle at 5107 Maryland Way, between 2:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2. There was no forced entry.

A resident on Steeplechase Drive discovered a license plate had been removed from a vehicle and replaced with one from a vehicle stolen in Nashville, sometime between Jan. 16 and Feb. 8.

In general thefts, the flatbed trailer was taken from the rear of the church property, 1210 Franklin Road, sometime between mid-December and Jan. 30.

A laptop was stolen from a dining table in McDonald’s, 109 Eastpark Drive, about 9:50 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3. The suspect was described as a white male 45-50 years old, 5-foot-10, and 200 pounds with gray hair.

A necklace was shoplifted from Gabriel’s Garden, 101 Creekside Crossing, between 11:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3. Another necklace was reported missing at the shop sometime between 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, and 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8.

A shoplifter also left with three game consoles and 10 games from Best Buy, 1600 Galleria Blvd. between 11 a.m.-12:52 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7.  The suspect was described as a 6-foot, 200-pound white male wearing a white T-shirt, tan hooded sweatshirt and jeans and leaving in a red Chevy Impala.

Prescription medication pills were reported missing by a woman staying at Extended Stay hotel, 9020 Church St., overnight Feb. 5. Her boyfriend is suspected in the theft.
