Vehicles were broken into on two different days at the Maryland Farms YMCA, and items were stolen from unlocked vehicles at Brentwood Place Shopping Center and near Woodland Middle in the past week.

There was another theft from motor vehicle at a residence, and two of the three vandalism cases involved vehicles windows smashes -- one at a Walgreen's. Two shoplifting incidents also were listed in the weekly crime report released by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh.

At the YMCA at 5101 Maryland Way, the driver's side door was prided open and credit cards taken from a vehicle between 3 p.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10.

Windows were broken on two other vehicles at the Maryland Farms Y around 5:30 p.m.-6:06 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, and purses were taken in both instances. Two unknown suspects were seen leaving in a newer model gold or beige sedan with temporary tag.

The Y has cameras which photographs license plates of vehicles entering the property.

No forced entry was necessary in the three other cases of theft from motor vehicles.

A necklace was taken from a vehicle at 330 Franklin Road, Brentwood Place Shopping Center, sometime between 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, and 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle between 2 p.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, at Woodland Middle near Crockett Park.

And an ATM card and check were reported missing from a theft from motor vehicle at a home on Fox Run Drive at 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14.

Additionally, vehicle windows were smashed out at a residence on Midway Circle around 9:30-9:55 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, and at Waglreen's, 1619 Franklin Road, between 10 a.m.-4:40 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15.  

Those two incidents were classified as vandalism, along with the report of a flood light at a home on Pin Oak Lane being shot out by a BB or pellet-type gun between Jan. 13 and Feb. 10.

In a shoplifting incident at Costco, a suspect was arrested for allegedly stealing a game console at 1:12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11.

A trail camera was taken from a wooded area near the rear of a residence on Wilson Pike, southeast of Moores Lane, during the week of Feb. 5-12.
