Brentwood Home Page news reports A quick-change artist hit Chipotle Mexican Grill and Starbucks, and a digital camera and electric trimmer were shoplifted from Kroger, according to the Brentwood Police weekly crime report.
There were a total of four general thefts, two vandalism cases and a vehicle break-in listed on the report released Thursday by BPD Capt. Tommy Walsh.
At Chipotle Mexican Grill and Starbucks located at 269 Franklin Road, a suspect "quick-changed cashiers to obtain currency on Saturday, Oct. 15, around 1:26-1:30 p.m. The white male was described at 5-foot-9, 200 pounds with brown hair and last seen wearing a navy blue and gray horizontal-striped shirt and khaki shorts.
A white male and white female, both described as heavy-set, shoplifted the camera and trimmer from Kroger, 330 Franklin Road, at 12:25-12:29 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13. The suspects left in a black Ford Taurus.
A woman's debit card and currency were taken from her wallet while she shopped at 1619 Franklin Road, the address of Walgreens, at noon on Thursday, Oct. 13.
A purse was taken from the hotel laundry room at 1738 Carothers Pkwy., the address of Windgate by Wyndham, at 12:30-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16.
In the theft from motor vehicle, a purse was stolen after the rear passenger side window was broken out of a vehicle parked at 920 Heritage Way, address of the Indoor Sports Complex.
In the vandalism cases, three mailboxes were damaged and several trash cans were tipped over on Devens and Brenthaven drives at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Two male juveniles were found in the area, but police were unable to positively identify them as suspects.
A backhoe left unattended at the CSX storage site on Ravenswood Farm Road was damaged overnight on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
