Prescription medicine was taken from a woman's purse at a Moores Lane office building, according to this week's crime report by Brentwood Police.

There was also a shoplifting arrest at Costco, a residential burglary, and a license plate stolen in the report released on Tuesday night this week due to the holiday.

The medicine was stolen froma purse at 7106 Moores Lane between 12:30 p.m. 0and 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18.

Costco, 98 Seaboard Lane, had a suspect arrested for allegedly shoplifting multiple DVDs at 5:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18.

An air compressor was reported stolen at 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, from a home on Deer Track Court, with entry gained through a previously broken window. The suspect was identified as a family member of the victim and charges are pending.

The license plate was stolen from a vehicle left in the parking lot at 1600 Galleria Blvd., the address of Best Buy, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16.
