Brentwood Home Page news reports Thieves left with iPods, an iPad and an iPhone in various incidents in the latest Brentwood Police Department’s weekly crime report. Golf clubs were also stolen from a vehicle, beer was taken from a country club cooler, and golf balls were used to damage windows and a door of a home.
There were five general thefts, two residential burglaries, a case of vandalism and a theft from motor vehicle, according to BPD Capt. Tommy Walsh. The report covered 1½ weeks due to early release the previous week because of a seminar.
About 4:40-5 p.m. Sunday, July 31, vandals used golf balls to break glass in multiple windows and a glass door at a Glover Drive residence. Five white male juveniles were seen leaving in a Ford F-150 extended cab truck.
A wallet was taken from a woman’s purse around 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, while she shopped at T.J. Maxx, 330 Franklin Rd.
An iPhone was also taken from the men’s fitting room at T.J. Maxx around 7-7:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5.
Multiple items were shoplifted from Party City, 1630 Galleria Blvd., during 3-3:19 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, with inventory pending. Two suspects seen leaving in a silver Pontiac Sunfire were described as black females, 25-30 years old, last seen wearing denim shorts and with a pink bag.
Brentwood Country Club, 5123 Country Club Drive, reported multiple cases of beer stolen from a cooler in the pool area overnight on Sunday, Aug. 7.
An iPad with case, owned by Centerre Healthcare, was swiped from the arcade area at Brentwood Skate Center, 402 Wilson Pike Circle, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9.
In the theft from motor vehicle, two iPods and a set of golf clubs were removed from an unlocked vehicle on Derby Glen overnight on Thursday, Aug. 8.
A laptop computer was stolen from a Brentwood Pointe residence, with no forced entry, between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30.
Multiple tools were swiped from a resident’s garage on Choctaw Trail overnight on Sunday, Aug. 8. There was no forced entry.
