A residential swimming pool was contaminated in a vandalism case, and two different construction companies were burglarized at adjacent sites on back-to-back nights, according to the weekly crime report.

There were three thefts from motor vehicles, three general thefts, two residential burglaries and the case of vandalism in the listings released Thursday by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh.

Roofing shingles were stolen from another residential construction site, this time from Austermiller Roofing on a build at Charity Drive between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, June 8-9.

The next night, between 6 p.m. Thursday, June 9, and 6:30 a.m., Friday, June 10, windows were broken out of  two construction vehicles owned by Towsend Concrete at the home site next door. Multiple power and hand tools were taken.

In the vandalism case, a Knightsbridge Park Close homeowner's swimming pool water was contaminated on June 7-8. No suspects were reported.

In the residential burglary cases, forced entry was attempted around 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, to a rear door and windows at a Beechwood Court residence. Two suspects were described as Hispanic, with the man 30-35 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds wearing a khaki pants and a white shirt and cap, and the woman age 40-45, 5-feet-2, 150 pounds, with a pink shirt and black pants.

Two bicycles were taken from an unlocked garage at a home on Demery Court overnight Saturday, June 11.

In other general thefts, multiple soccer jerseys were taken from the store inventory at Soccer USA, 1701 Mallory Lane, sometime since the beginning of the year and June 7. An employee was listed as a suspect.

Best Buy has charges pending in a shoplifting incident at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, involving two computer gaming devices.

In another vehicle burglary, a cell phone, digital camera and sunglasses were swiped from an unlocked car at Ruby Tuesday's, 279 Franklin Road, during 2:30-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 8.

A face plate for an in-dash radio was removed from an unlocked vehicle at a Natchez Drive address overnight on Saturday, June 12.
