Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County became a crime victim when it was discovered that two utility trailers had been taken from its Bakers Bridge parking lot. The theft was reported on Aug. 25. It is just one of four general thefts on this week’s Crime Report, released Thursday by the Brentwood Police Department.

The others included an attempted shoplifting at the Brentwood Place Kroger on Aug. 25; jewelry taken from a bathroom vanity at a Knox Valley Drive home between Aug. 23 and 26; and prescription drugs taken from hotel room at 1611 Galleria Boulevard between Aug. 28 and 29.

Vandalism
Suspects ripped down several tree limbs from landscaping at a Knox Valley Drive home and placed them in the roadway in the early morning hours of Aug. 27.

On Aug. 28, a windshield was smashed with a fist during an argument at a Shenandoah Drive residence. The suspect was arrested.

The number 13 was spray painted on the rear driver’s side door of a vehicle parked at 261 Franklin Road on Aug. 28 between 2:45 and 2:55 p.m.

Paint on a vehicle’s hood was scratched between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 29 and 8 a.m. Aug. 31 at 5324 Murray Lane.

Theft from motor vehicle
An attempted forced entry to both front windows occurred at 1738 Carothers Pkwy. between 9 p.m. Aug. 28 and 7:15 a.m. Aug. 29. Nothing was taken.

Force was used to break windows and enter two vehicles parked on Eastpark Drive in Maryland Farms between 7 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. Aug. 30-31. A GPS, watch, sunglasses and money were taken.

Equipment was removed from four company trucks in the Color Burst Landscaping Wilson Pike Circle parking lot after a lock was cut to make entry. The theft occurred between 4:30 p.m. Aug. 30 and 5 a.m. Aug. 31.

A purse, camera and jewelry were taken from a vehicle at 210 Franklin Road on Sept. 1 between 6:05 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 1.

Residential burglary
A forced entry was attempted to the front door of a Wikle Road East home between July 9 and Aug. 26.Nothing was taken.

A computer, camera, iPod and recorders were taken from a Franklin Road resident between 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27 and 7 p.m. Aug. 28.
