Brentwood Home Page news reports A Corvette was stolen from the Land Rover Nashville parking lot, and some more Christmas inflatable decorations were slashed, according to the weekly Brentwood crime report.
An attempted home burglary on Christmas Eve and a vehicle break-in attempt on Christmas also were listed in the report released Thursday night by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh.
The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette was taken from the Land Rover Nashville dealership parking lot, 3 Cadillac Drive in Maryland Farms, between 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29.
In the vandalism incident, outdoor inflatable Christmas decorations at a Harpeth River Drive residence were slashed with an unknown object overnight on Friday, Dec. 23. Last week's crime report also listed other reports of inflatable decorations damaged by vandals.
In the residential break-in, a home on Concord Hunt Drive had forced entry to the front window, but no entry was gained to the house around 4:47 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.
The front passenger side window was broken on a vehicle on Interstate 65-North near Concord Road between 2:51 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, and 8:38 a.m., Monday, Dec. 26. However, nothing was taken.
