Brentwood Home Page news services Construction companies have been hit for materials, tools and another trailer with equipment in most of the thefts listed on this week's crime report.
There were five general thefts -- all but one involving companies doing construction business -- and one theft from motor vehicle in the report released Thursday by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh.
Tools were taken from a Southland Constructors job box located inside an office suite on Westgate Circle between 6:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10.
John Wieland Homes had thefts from two different residential construction sites overnight that Thursday, March 10. Three pallets of shingles and 13 rolls of felt stolen from a Ivy Crest Drive build; a pallet of shingles, seven rolls of felt and 30 sheets of oriented strand board were taken from a site on Wexcroft Drive.
An enclosed 16-foot trailer with contents owned by Dynamic Electric was stolen from the parking lot of a commercial construction site on Westgate Circle after hours on March 15 and before 6:15 p.m. March 16.
A woman at a Seaboard Lane address also reported a purse stolen between March 6-11 but was unsure of the location or exact date of the theft.
On March 1, an iPad and digital camera were swiped from an unlocked vehicle at Brentwood United Methodist Church.
