Brentwood Home Page news services Two gumball machines taken from the employee break room at the Brentwood Place Kroger store take the “most unusual crime of the week” title in Brentwood this week.
Capt. Tommy Walsh of the Brentwood Police Department released the most recent Crime Report on Thursday.
No suspects are listed in the theft that was reported Feb. 24.
In other general thefts, lumber was taken from a construction site at 1808 Sonoma Trace on Feb. 23 between 7 and 7:15 a.m. Two Hispanic male suspects were observed taking lumber then leaving in a black van.
An enclosed utility trailer was taken from a parking lot on 500 Wilson Pike Circle between 3 p .m. Feb. 23 and 8:30 a.m. Feb.24.
Suspects are arrested in two shoplifting cases at Best Buy on Galleria Boulevard. A camcorder and digital camera were taken on Feb. 26 and a cell phone case was taken on Feb. 27.
The rear tires were punctured on a vehicle parked in a Devens Drive driveway overnight between Feb. 26 and 27 in this week’s only vandalism incident reported.
A damaged vehicle part with the license plate attached was taken from the Andrews Cadillac Collision Center between 1 a.m. Feb. 12 and 8 a.m. Feb. 24.
