Brentwood Home Page news reports A vehicle was stolen from a Brentwood parking lot and windows were broken out of two other vehicles, according to the weekly crime report.
Only one other theft from a motor vehicle and two other general thefts were reported in the list released by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh on Thursday.
The 2005 Infiniti G35 was stolen from the parking lot at 8005 Church Street East between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23.
Two vehicles had windows smashed on Sunday, April 24. A purse and GPS were taken from a vehicle at a Knox Valley Drive residence about 1:28 p.m. A male black or Hispanic was seen leaving the area in a newer model black sedan.
Nothing was taken when a window was broken during 6:50 a.m.-2:43 p.m. on a vehicle at the address of a retirement community on Heritage Way.
Currency was stolen from a vehicle on Meadowlake Drive about 9 p.m.-11:59 p.m. Saturday night, with no forced entry.
In general theft, checks were swiped from a residence on Remington Drive about noon April 12 and one check forged at a local bank. An acquaintance was listed as a suspect.
Charges are pending against an employee at T.J. Maxx, 330 Franklin Road, suspected of stealing store merchandise between mid-2010 and April 23.
