Brentwood Home Page news reports Three vehicles had windows broken out and purses stolen at the Civitan Ball Park area last week, according to the weekly crime report.
A Rolex watch was stolen in a package on a porch, roofing shingles were taken from a construction site and a playground was vandalized. There were three general thefts, the three motor vehicle break-ins, and the vandalism incident in the report Thursday by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh.
The first vehicle break-in at 8013 Concord Road was reported around 1:15-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, with a front passenger side window broken.
Two other vehicles had rear passenger side windows broken during 6:55 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7. A credit card from one of those purses was used at Best Buy by a male black suspect wearing jean shorts and white shirt.
A resident at Brentwood Pointe reported a package, contained a Rolex and delivered by UPS, was taken from the front porch sometime between April 28 and May 1.
KP Properties had three pallets of roofing shingles stolen from a residential construction site on Sterns Crossing between 4 p.m. Monday, May 2, and 5 p.m. Tuesday ,May 3.
Mainstay Suites, 107 Brentwood Blvd., had two flat panel TVs removed from a room, with the registered guest suspected in the theft.
Raintree Forest Homeowners Association reported damage to its community playground equipment from being kicked. Two white male juveniles, around 15 to 17 years old, were observed around 7:50-7:54 p.m. Friday, May 16, running from the area at Benson Lost Hollow Drive and Raintree Parkway.
