Brentwood Home Page news reports 
A wallet and cell phone were stolen from a locker at the Maryland Farms YMCA, and a vehicle was broken into at River Park, according to the weekly crime report.

There were also two employees who had items stolen at their workplaces among five general thefts listed in the report released by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh.

The latch on the locker door was broken to gain entry on the items at the YMCA, 5101 Maryland Way, between 12:52 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.

On Saturday, Sept. 10, a Concord Road resident reported jewelry taken from her home during an unknown time frame.

Best Buy, 1600 Galleria Boulevard, had a juvenile suspect arrested for shoplifting a DVD and CD around 3:30-3:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10.

A Cracker Barrel employee had keys taken from an unlocked locker in the break area at the restaurant, 1735 Mallory Lane, during 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.

An employee at an Executive Center Drive building had a digital reader taken from his unlocked desk over the weekend of Sept. 9-12.

In the vehicle break-in, the front passenger window was broken out and a purse stolen about 12:40-1:35 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.
