Fire extinguishers were discharged inside the city's building at Crockett Park Amphitheatre, more alcoholic beverages were stolen from Brentwood Country Club, and another pool clubhouse was hit. Credit and debit cards were also swiped from purses at Brentwood Academy and at Brentwood Baptist Church.

The weekly crime report, released Thursday by Brentwood Police Capt. Tommy Walsh, also included more car break-ins and another trailer stolen. There were six general thefts, three thefts from motor vehicles and one case of vandalism.

The City of Brentwood reported that the fire extinguishers were sprayed inside the park amphitheater building sometime the week of Aug. 20-27. There were no suspects listed.

Two of the motor vehicle burglaries took place at 1100 Knox Valley Drive, the address of River Park. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle around 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Aug. 25. The next day, the front passenger side window of a vehicle was broken out and a purse taken around 7:30-7:55 p.m.

On Wednesday, Aug. 24, the front passenger side window of another vehicle had been broken out and a purse swiped around noon-12:20 p.m. at 920 Heritage Way, the address of the Indoor Sports Complex.

In general thefts, Wildwood Swim and Tennis Club told police fabric wall hangings and drapery were stolen from the pool clubhouse at 1933 Harpeth River Drive, without any forced entry. The theft took place during the week of Aug. 19-26.

A teacher at Brentwood Academy reported credit cards were removed from her purse in an office between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26. Suspects were listed as a black male and black female, approximately 35-345 years old, both wearing white shirts.

Brentwood Country Club had alcoholic beverages and food stolen again from a cooler in the pool area, overnight on Friday, Aug. 26.

A debit card was swiped from the victim's purse at 7777 Concord Road, the address of Brentwood Baptist Church, during 10 a.m-11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29.

A 16-foot trailer was taken from Clearwater Pools' parking lot in the rear of the business at 330 Franklin Road, between 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, and 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31.

A suspected employee for Golf Galaxy, 1610 Galleria Blvd., was arrested for allegedly lifting currency and golf equipment from the store from June 27 and Aug. 31.
