Christ Presbyterian, ranked fifth in the state, outlasted No.  4-rated Maplewood 74-70 Monday night to win the District 10-AA regular-season title and earn the tournament top seed.

Craig Bradshaw scored 26 including a pair of 3-pointers for the Lions (25-4, 14-2), who finished the season unbeaten at home. CPA now get to play the 10-AA tournament on their homecourt this week.

Jalen Lindsey, a 6-6 forward ranked among the top freshmen in the nation, had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Lions despite being under the weather.

Bradshaw also turned his ankle early in the game, but hit a free throw that put CPA ahead with 9.1 seconds to go. Tyler Dreher secured the win with the rebound on Bradshaw's second foul shot attempt.

The Lions went ahead for the final time, 69-67, on Thomas Richard's three-point play. Richard finished with 11 points, while Jake Allsmiller had a trio of 3s.

CPA, coached by former Vanderbilt star Drew Maddux, has now won the district championship three times in five years.

Maplewood's Kenny Robertson scored 27 points, with three treys. The Panthers (19-4, 13-3) also had 18 points and six rebounds from 6-6 forward Darryl Clack.
