Brentwood Home Page news reports Though the 2011 Williamson County Fair started off with a rainy weekend, it ended with its strongest weekend in the history of the fair during the final Friday and Saturday, Aug. 19 and 20. "There are strong indications that this year will prove to be our second best from a financial standpoint,” fair publicist Richard Marsh stated.
While the weekend fireworks were bursting in air on the final Friday night, overflow parking was at capacity, with patrons circling the parking lots awaiting for spots to open.
"Residents throughout Middle Tennessee continue to support our fair and provide positive feedback about our event and activities, leaving fair board members and volunteers eager to begin planning for next year,” fair board chairman and Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson stated.
“We are most appreciative of our volunteers, sponsors and patrons who make it all happen and we are looking forward to those continued partnerships for the 2012 event.”
Next year’s Williamson County Fair is scheduled for August 3-11, 2012.
The fair board is soliciting suggestions for next year's theme and feedback on the 2011 fair. Send your thoughts and ideas to info@williamsoncountyfair.org.
