The Cool Springs Chamber invites all members to a Chamber Mixer on Thursday, April 7, to welcome new members.

Other April events include speakers at an April 12 membership breakfast on the topic of entrepreneurship in tough economic times, and an April 19 women's network luncheon on social media.

Membership breakfast, 7:30-9 a.m., Tuesday, April 12:  Guest speaker Darrell Freeman, chairman and founder of Zycron Inc., will present “What Do Entrepreneurs Do in Tough Times?” At Durégo Event and Party Space, 1649 Westgate Circle. Members $12, guests $15. Advance reservations  appreciated, but walk-in guests accepted. Sponsor is Ramon Presson, Life Change Counseling and Marriage Center of Franklin.

Women’s Leadership Network luncheon, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday, April 19: Cynthia Manley, director of interactive marketing strategies at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and associate director for communications/Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, will present:  “Facebook Me!  A Conversation about Social Media, Marketing and Personal Branding.” At Boxwood Bistro, 230 Franklin Road, Bldg 1, Franklin, (right In front of The Factory). Young Professionals lunch, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, April 27: Guest this month for MBA-Moving Business Ahead series is Debbie Lucurdo, vice president of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, who will present “You and Your Finances.” At Williamson County Association of Realtors Training Room,  1646 Westgate Circle, Suite 104, Brentwood, 37027 (across from Durégo Events). Chamber and WCAR members $18, guests $20. Advance reservations encouraged. 

Business Leads Exchange, 7:30-9 a.m., Thursday, April 28: Bring your business cards and a one-minute “infomercial” to this casual, fun meeting.  for BLE. At New York Life Offices, 840 Crescent Center Drive. Free to members; guest may visit up to three times at $10 per visit. No reservations needed.
