LP funds commemorative medallion for weekly military meetup

The Costco Veterans Group that began with a couple of former buddies, and now includes over 60 former servicemen, celebrated a special presentation on Friday of a Challenge Coin to commemorate the group. A challenge coin is a small coin or medallion, bearing an organization’s insignia or emblem and carried by the organization’s members.

Community heroes: Brentwood is blessed to be home to many of them. They come in all ages and sizes; they live in your neighborhood and the one across town. They go to your church or lead your daughter’s scout troop. They work in the cubicle beside you and the nursing home your Grandma now calls home.

And now, we want to recognize one of these heroes every month.
