Brentwood Home Page news reports
With the retirement of Brentwood Police Chief Ricky Watson, several promotions will take place in the department effective Monday.
Already announced have been the promotions of Assistant Police Chief Jeff Hughes to chief of police, and Capt. Tommy Walsh to assistant chief. Brentwood Home Page will profile the new chief and his assistant in coming weeks.
Also receiving new titles and responsibilities are:
- Tommy Campsey, currently captain over Criminal Investigations will move to Technical/Support Services
- Richard Hickey, currently lieutenant in Criminal Investigations will be promoted to captain over that division
- Jeff Moorehead, currently sergeant in Patrol will be promoted to Patrol lieutenant
“We still have an unfilled patrol sergeant position as well as a detective position that will be filled from within in the next few weeks,” department spokesman Walsh said.
