Businesses and school children alike are looking forward to the holidays. With Christmas and New Year's falling on a Sunday this year, a majority of workers will get at least a three-day holiday and for many government workers, a four-day one. Here's our roundup of holiday closings so you can plan ahead:

The Brentwood Home Page office will be closed Mondays, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

If you have business with the City of Brentwood that needs to be conducted before Christmas, do it quick. City offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26, and again on Monday, Jan. 2.

The Brentwood Library will closed on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 24 and 25, and on Sunday, Jan. 1.

Williamson County Schools’ are closed. Classes resume for students on Thursday, Jan. 5.

All Williamson County Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 through Tuesday, Dec. 27. The following New Year’s weekend, facilities will close at their regularly scheduled time or by 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31. Facilities will remain closed on Sunday, Jan.  1 and Monday, Jan. 2. All facilities will reopen at their regularly scheduled times on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

State of Tennessee offices, including the Department of Motor Vehicles, will be closed this Friday and the next two Mondays, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

The federal holidays, which includes banks and the post office, will be observed on Mondays, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

Brentwood's Brooks Chapel Road Post Office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, and closed on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

The FiftyForward Martin Center will be closed this Friday, and Monday and Tuesday next week, and Monday, Jan. 2.
