Post office open limited hours on Friday

Black Friday is a good Friday for city and county employees. Both the City of Brentwood and Williamson County are closed for business both Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Brentwood Library will be closed both days, and is closing at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Brentwood city parks will be open for use on Thursday, but will close at 6 p.m.

All Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department facilities, including the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, will also be closed on Thursday and Friday.

The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) will not operate its 91X Franklin/Brentwood Express bus service on Thursday and the RTA administrative office will be closed. All RTA operations will run on a normal schedule on Friday.

The Brentwood Post Office will be closed on Thursday with no home delivery. The post office’s retail operation will be open Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but closed Saturday. Home delivery will be normal on those days, however. The post office will resume its regular hours on Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

State and federal offices will be closed on Thursday.
