First Friday
Your Small Business Resource: First Friday presented by the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce introduces the last installment of its current “Thrive and Prosper” series on Friday, June 3, 7:30 – 9 am at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, 1500 Legends Club Lane, Franklin.

A panel of experts will speak on “Creating Systems and Structures for Success”. Panelists include Tom Parrish, Strategy Consultant, Pathways Management; Lynda Stone, Owner, Puffy Muffin; and Dave Adams, President, Adams Investment Strategies.

A continental breakfast is provided, and Chamber members attend free of charge.  Guests may attend for $25.

Young Professionals Council

The Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Council Luncheon presented by BancorpSouth will be Wednesday, June 8 from 11:30 am – 1 pm at Belmont University at the Frist Lecture Hall in the Gordon Inman Building. Consultant and Senior Partner Diane Reese with m21partners will join the 40 year-old and younger professionals to discuss “Strategic Thinking”.

The cost is $16 for members and $25 for guests. Reservations are required and can be made online at www.brentwoodcoolsprings.org.

Ladies Night Out

The Heels for Healing – Ladies of the Chamber Night Out blood drive presented by the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce and Avenue Bank will be held Thursday, June 9 from 3 – 7 pm at Avenue Bank, 101 International Drive, Franklin. The event is being hosted in partnership with The American Red Cross and will offer networking opportunities, door prizes and refreshments. Donate a pint of blood to help save a life!

Membership luncheon meeting

The Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon will be Thursday, June 16 at Brentwood United Methodist Church, 309 Franklin Road, Brentwood. The meeting consists of a mini-business expo at 11 am and lunch and the program from 11:30 am – 1 pm.

Michael Burcham, President of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, will be the speaker.

The cost is $20 for members and $30 for guests. Reservations are required.

YPC Spring Mixer

Join the young professionals of Williamson County for a fun evening including live music, appetizers, networking and a cash bar! The Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual Young Professionals Council Spring Mixer in conjunction with the Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Williamson County-Franklin Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held Thursday, June 16 from 5 – 7 pm at Boxwood Bistro, 230 Franklin Road, Franklin. A $10 donation at the door is required and all proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County.

Member Connect!

The Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce will host a Member Connect! meeting on Tuesday, June 21 from 8 – 9 am at the Chamber Office, 5211 Maryland Way, Suite 1080, Brentwood. Member Connect! is a facilitated, casual networking opportunity to develop member relationships. Participants should bring business cards, brochures and product samples and be ready to network with about 15 – 20 other participants. This event is for chamber members only.

Women in Business

The Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, June 23, at 11:30 am at FiftyForward Martin Center, 960 Heritage Way, Brentwood. The speaker will be Patty Harman, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Nashville.

The cost for this meeting is $16 for members and $28 for guests. Reservations are required.
