Edmondson fifth graders will be travelling to JABizTown today. The students will take on the adult roles in their businesses by working and earning a pay check, paying payroll taxes, purchasing insurance, setting up a savings account, writing checks and keeping a check register – just to name a few. Also this week, fifth graders will be building tetrahedron kites from straws, string, and tissue paper in their math class, while using liter bottles and designing rockets at home in preparation of Kites and Rocket Day to be held on May 17th.
