Situated just off Concord Pass in east Brentwood, Bridgeton Park offers a wide variety of location advantages – some of which are even within walking distance.
“One of the nicest things about living here is that we’re right next to Owl Creek Park,” says Janet MacGirr, who has lived in the neighborhood for two years. “There’s a nice mile loop around the park, which is great for exercise or walking the dog. There’s also a playground, which is wonderful for younger families.”
Built from 2003 by The Jones Company, Bridgeton Park also offers convenient access to schools – including Sunset Elementary, Sunset Middle and Ravenwood High School – as well as local shopping and restaurants.
“Residents now have many good options on nearby Nolensville Road,” says Tari Herman, a Realtor with Pilkerton Realtors in Brentwood. “There’s a new Dollar General, and several new restaurants, such as Oscar’s Taco Shop.”
The neighborhood includes 146 homes. There are currently just four houses listed on realtracs.com, ranging in price from $334,900 to $364,900.
“The price point is a huge advantage,” Herman adds. “These are relatively new homes, so that helps with maintenance. And they’re smaller lots, so you’re not a slave to yard work every weekend.”
MacGirr says that the neighborhood boasts an active social committee and home owner’s association, which coordinates a number of gatherings throughout the year.
“Fourth of July, Halloween, Christmas, an Easter Egg Hunt – there are plenty of opportunities for neighbors to get together,” she says, noting that a women’s club also meets each month. “And there’s a nice mix of people – from young families to empty-nesters. I enjoy that diversity.”
Still, Herman sees location as one of Bridgeton Park’s greatest benefits.
“Now that the city has widened Concord Road, it’s much more convenient,” she says. “Between the schools, the shopping and restaurants, and the ability to walk to Owl Creek Park, this is just a great setup for active families.”
