Several BHS, RHS players earn All-State, All-Region
Brentwood Home Page news reports Brentwood High lacrosse player Colin Hart has been selected All-American and also made the Division I All-State first team.Hart, a defenseman, was just one of six players earning All-American status in U.S. Lacrosse from the Tennessee chapter. He will play Division I lacrosse next year at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky.
Also making All-State first team for the Brentwood Lacrosse Club were Patrick Gill (attack), Sam Wudel (face-off) and Sam Wyatt (midfield). Michael Plisco made the second team on defense.
Midfielder Ben Manning, Gill, Hart, Wudel and Wyatt were selected to the Tennessee Scholastic Lacrosse Association's Division I West All-Region first team. Connor Hart (attack) and Ross English (goalie) joined Plisco on the All-Region second team.
Ravenwood's Corbin Pefanis (attack) was picked to the All-State second team and also made Division I East All-Region second team. Raptors teammates Robbie Betchley (attack) and Nathan Traczewski (defense) were named to the All-Region second team.
