Franklin Road Academy senior Brett Ravener, a Brentwood resident, signed a baseball national letter-of-intent recently with Harding University, an NCAA Division II program in Arkansas.

Ravener claimed All-Region status as a junior for last year’s Panthers team and also was on the Dean’s List. The 6-2, 175-pound outfielder hit .379 with 12 doubles and two home runs last season.

He was seconed on the team in on-base percentage, batting average and slugging percentage.

Senior golfer Andrea Cropper, who led the FRA girls team to a 2011 state runner-up and 2010 state championship, signed with the University of Memphis.
