Brentwood resident Allison Cowie was part of Battle Ground Academy's first sixth-grade girls team to win the Music City Athletic Conference championship.

The team, coached by 2009 BGA graduate Chloe Mayo, went undefeated in regular-season play (19-0). The team finished the entire season with a 27-1 record and also won the Brentwood Academy Christmas Hoop Fest.
