Brentwood Middle School is holding tryouts for the 2011-12 boys and girls golf teams on Aug. 2 and 4 at Spencer Creek.

Tee times for the boys on Aug. 2 run between 8:05 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. Golfers will receive their time once registered, and should arrive 30 minutes early.

The top 36 from the first day will return to tee off at 8:05 a.m. Aug. 4.

The tryout date for the girls golf team will take place beginning 3:05 p.m. Aug. 2 and at 1:05 p.m. Aug. 4. (Be there 30 minutes prior.) 

Registration deadline is July 24, and golfers should bring a copy of their physical to the tryouts.  The green fee is $20 each day during tryouts.

Please e-mail BMS golf coach Jeff Adams at jeffreya1@wcs.edu if you plan on trying out, have questions or if you know of someone that will be new to the area this summer and will want to try out.

Requirements for the boys team is an average of 44 or better on a regular basis. Players on the girls team should average 50-51. Appropriate dress is required  (collared shirt with khaki shorts/pants– NO jeans).
