| BREAKING: WCS dismissing early Wednesday before snow hits |

Brentwood Home Page news reports Williamson County Schools are dismissing middle and high schools at 11:30 a.m. and elementary schools at 12:30 p.m. due to a snowstorm due expected to hit around regular dismissal times. Extended care will remain open, but extracurricular activities will be cancelled.
Here is the message from WCS: "Hello Williamson County parents. This is Carol Birdsong. I’m calling to let you know that school will be dismissing early today, Wednesday, February 9.
"Middle and high schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m., and elementary schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Hillsboro School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. as well. Extended care will be open, but all extracurricular activities and practices are cancelled after 12:30 p.m. Again, middle and high schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m., and elementary schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Hillsboro School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. as well. "We will be continue to monitor the weather and will call you this evening to let you know if school will be in session tomorrow. Thank you." |
