In a nail-biting finish, the Lady Raptors' softball team won the Region 6-AAA title with a 10-9 victory over the Lady Bruins today at the Ravenwood field. Both Ravenwood and Brentwood advance to sub-state games in hopes of reaching next week's Blue Cross Blue Shield Spring Fling tournament in Murfreesboro.
After the Lady Bruins scored at grand slam in the third inning, Ravenwood began whittling its way back into the game. Victory wasn't secured until the bottom of the 7th inning.
