A new restaurant, pet supply store, urgent care center and nail spa are all coming to the Pear Tree Village by late summer. The Franklin Road shopping center is anchored by Harris-Teeter supermarket and is also home to Office Max, Leslie’s Pool Supply and Royal Thai restaurant.

Ryan Ertel, senior leasing agent with the Regency Centers, said once the new tenants move in, the center will again be 100 percent leased. The nearby Brentwood Place shopping center, anchored by Kroger, and the Hill Center Brentwood, anchored by Fresh Market and REI, are also full.

Serenity Nail Spa will be located in what used to be the AAA office.

First Watch will open its first Nashville-area restaurant later this year in half of the former Hollywood Video space. First Watch features traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch favorites like pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches as well as signature items. According to a press release, all of its menu items are prepared to order and the restaurant does not use microwaves and has no deep fryers or heat lamps.

First Watch has received more than 200 “Best Of” accolades in markets across the country. The Brentwood restaurant will be approximately 3,600 square feet with seating for about 120 people and an outside patio dining area. The hours will be from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

“We are excited about opening our first restaurant in Middle Tennessee,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch and a former Brentwood resident. “We are confident First Watch will become a favorite and we look forward to continuing our expansion in the area”. There are 85 First Watch restaurants in 11 states.

NeighborMD urgent care center will fill the other half of the former video and game store space. NeighborMD’s doctor-staffed centers feature on-site X-ray, diagnostic laboratory and pharmaceutical dispensary capabilities.

The center plans to be open seven days a week, with extended hours and offer unscheduled, walk-in access.

PetCo will add another Nashville-area store when it opens in the former Eckerd/Rite Aid Drug space. PETCO is a pet specialty retailer that provides the products, services and advice.

And filling the space previously was the home to an AAA office, will be Serenity Nail Spa.

“It’s a wonderful market and good real estate,” Ertel said of Brentwood and the center. “All of the leases are inked and we’re expecting everyone to be in by the end of the summer.

“The uptick in the Brentwood market is just phenomenal,” said Ertel, whose Jacksonville, Fla.-based company bought the center in the late ’90s.
