Brentwood High School administrators have decided to distribute textbooks and lockers to students next week before the day of school, since summer construction will be completed Friday, Aug. 5.

"The building looks great and we think everyone will be impressed with the renovations," principal Kevin Keidel wrote in an email.

Books and lockers will be distributed by grade at the following dates and times:

Seniors: Monday, Aug. 8, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Juniors: Tuesday, Aug., 9, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sophomores: Tuesday, Aug. 9, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Freshmen: Wednesday, Aug. 10, 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Student who cannot be there at these assigned times can get their schedules, lockers, and books on Thursday, Aug. 11.

"We apologize for the short notice of the distribution schedule, but we couldn't make a decision on these days until we knew when the construction would conclude," Keidel said. "We hope these plans will help our students have a great start to the school year."
