Jan Little, newspaper and literary magazine sponsor at Brentwood High School, received  the Bonnie Hufford Award for Adviser of the Year at the 2010-11 Tennessee Scholastic Press Association’s awards ceremony.

Little started the print journalism program at the school 11 years ago and added literary magazine six years ago.  She is a member of Sigma Delta Chi/Society of Professional Journalists and The Atlanta Press Club.
