Brentwood High student-athletes Colin Hart and Lauren Kauffman recently signed letters of intent to play college sports.

Hart signed to play lacrosse with Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky., the school’s only program playing at the NCAA Division I level.

Hart has 5 goals, 6 assists and 135 groundballs on the Bruins team that faces MBA in Friday’s 5 p.m. state Division I semifinals at Father Ryan.

He is the son of Kerry and Linda Hart. His lacrosse coach is Chuck Catterton.          

Kaufman, a 6-foot all-state middle hitter for the Lady Bruins, signed to play volleyball at the University of West Georgia in NCAA Division II.

She had 430 kills as a senior, giving her 1,510 for her career.

Kaufman is the daughter of Chris and Key Kaufman. Her BHS volleyball coach is Barbara Campbell.
