U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Travis Selleh (BHS Class of 2006) earned his wings after year-long pilot training. |
Brentwood Home Page news reports U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Travis Selleh of Brentwood received his wings recently after completing the 52-week USAF Under Graduate Pilot Training.
Selleh, living out his dream of flying, has flown the T-6 Texan II and the T-38C Talon aircraft while stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, TX. He was awarded his wings at graduation from pilot school Jan. 20.
A 2006 graduate of Brentwood High School and 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Selleh learned earlier this month he will now fly the Boeing C-17 Globemaster. He will be moving to Altus AFB in Oklahoma for follow-up training for several months and then be assigned to Charleston (S.C.) AFB.
His parents are James Selleh and Rachel Waterhouse, and Dr. Rhonda Gilmore.
