Bruins boys squad remains unbeaten on the season
Brentwood Home Page news reports Brentwood High School’s boys golf team won by 10 strokes over rival Ravenwood in the “Battle of the Woods” on the links Thursday to stay undefeated on the season. The Lady Bruins also captured a 10-stroke victory over the RHS girls team.
Grant Lawrence carded a low round of 33 to lead the Bruins at Brentwood Country Club. Ryan Grundberg posted a 36 and Drew Grundberg a 39, while Peyton McClure shot 40.

BHS ran its season record to 28-0 with the 148 team score to the Raptors’ 158.
Ravenwood’s Davis Baxter (37) and Adam Button (39) broke 40 for RHS, while Austin Freels scored 40 and Jonathan Wise a 42.
In the girls match, Catherine Doyle recorded 38 and Shelby Winter 47 for the BHS girls’ 85 strokes to 95 for the Lady Raptors. Ravenwood’s Katie Parrott finished just one stroke behind Doyle, and Nicki Stasiak shot 56.
Earlier this week, the Brentwood High teams also swept a match with Lebanon at Pine Creek Golf Course. In the boys’ 145-160 victory over the Blue Devils (19-1), Lawrence shot 35, Chris Tyminski 36, and Drew Grunberg and McClure had 37s.
Shelby Winter led the Lady Bruins’ 91-100 victory, with Catherine Doyle shooting a 48.
